Food Sensitivities and Pain

Foods that people are “sensitive” to increase inflammation. Many people have had wonderful results from eliminating dairy and gluten (found in wheat, spelt, rye, kamut, barley, etc) from their diet completely. There is a large number of people that are sensitive to these foods that do not know it. You can have sensitivity to a food and have no digestive issues! It might show up as an inflammatory condition such as arthritis, fatigue, or may even cause decline in memory, concentration, and/or mood.

Some people don’t need to be gluten free and dairy free while others need to narrow the scope even more and eliminate all grains and other foods they are sensitive to. The most common food allergies are gluten, dairy, nuts, soy, eggs, and corn. The cheapest way to find out if you are sensitive to a food is to STRICTLY eliminate it from your diet. A little exposure to a food even once may affect the results, so you need to be strict with it. A lot of these foods can be hidden in ingredient labels as other names. Make sure you research which ingredients to look out for if you want to try eliminating any of these foods to see if you feel better. Some people are sensitive to regular dairy, but can tolerate raw grass-fed dairy very well.
